2009 Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon is probably the most well known and popular red varietal. In 1997, the University of California, Davis, determined that Cabernet Sauvignon is an offspring of Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Franc. Our Cabernet is vibrant and well-balanced, with the acidity and tannins delivering solid structure and real potential for extended longevity. Black currant and black cherry abound with hints of cedar. This Cabernet was aged in ½ once-used American oak and ½ new French oak, and was proudly grown at our vineyard, The Vinelands.
